Usually made from acrylic, or a combination of acrylic and metal, dentures can look just like your natural teeth and gums. They can replace just a few lost teeth or a full set and, as well as restoring your smile, they can improve how you eat and speak, and enhance your facial shape. They are designed to fit securely but can be removed for cleaning.

It will take a while to get used to your new dentures and you may find it a little difficult to eat and speak when you first start wearing them. You will also need to pay extra attention to your oral hygiene routine and keep your dentures clean. We will let you know how to do this and which special brushes to use.
